CRICKET PROTEIN POWER BALLS
Serves - 2

INGREDIENTS
Cricket / Buffalo Worm Powder - 30g
Almonds - 100g
Dates - 200g
Raw Cacao powder - 2 tbsp
Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp
Almond Butter - 1 tbsp
Desiccated Coconut - 30g
METHOD
1. BOIL | 10 mins
Bring a pan up to boil and add the dates.
Boil for around 10 minutes until the dates have softened. Drain water and leave to cool.
2. BLITZ | 5 mins
Add the almonds to a blender and lightly blitz them. This will make the almonds easier to blend with the other ingredients.
Add the boiled dates, lightly blitzed almonds, coconut oil, almond butter, cricket powder and desiccated coconut.
Give it a good blitz until it’s smooth and well combined.
3. BALLS | 5 mins
When the mixture has become soft and slightly sticky roll it into balls.
Dunk the balls in desiccated coconut (to get the best coverage you may want to slightly wet the outside of the balls with water – works a treat).
