SMOKY BBQ CRICKET NACHOS


Perfect for if you're feeling a little naughty, or throwing together a party!

INGREDIENTS


Tortilla Chips

Guacamole

Sour Cream

Cheddar Cheese

Pickled Jalapeños

Coriander


Salsa:

Tomatoes – 2

Red Onion – ½

Chilli – 1

Coriander – small handful

Salt and Pepper



METHOD


1. PREP CRICKETS | 5 mins

  • Prepare and cook the crickets as per instructions on the Bug Kit.


2. PREPARE THE SALSA | 4 mins

  • Deseed and dice the tomatoes.

  • Finely dice the red onion and chilli.

  • Chop the coriander.

  • Add all the ingredients to a bowl. Season and mix well.


3. ASSEMBLE THE NACHOS | 6 mins

  • Add the tortilla chips to a dish.

  • Top with the salsa and crickets.

  • Grate the cheddar cheese on top.

  • Grill the dish to melt all the cheese.

  • Finish with the guacamole, sour cream, coriander, and pickled jalapeños.
